Exploring
National parks, scenic travel, and natural landmarks. Exploring is about going somewhere specifically to see and experience it — beyond just a trail or a campsite.
About
National Parks & Scenic Travel
I’m drawn to places that are set aside because they’re worth protecting — national parks, wildlife refuges, and scenic areas that offer landscapes or ecosystems you can’t find anywhere else.
Visiting these places is as much about the context — the history, geology, and ecology — as it is about the views. I try to learn what I’m looking at, not just pass through it.
Natural Landmarks
Beyond parks, I’m interested in natural features worth seeking out: unusual geology, significant waterways, old-growth areas, and other landmarks that have their own story worth understanding.
