How It Applies

Working in-home sharpened my ability to troubleshoot in uncontrolled, real-world environments where every setup is different. Unlike a shop bench, there are no ideal conditions — which is where structured diagnostic thinking and adaptability matter most.

This role also built strong habits around customer communication: explaining a connectivity issue clearly to someone who just wants their internet to work requires patience and the ability to translate technical problems into plain language. That skill applies equally in any IT support or networking role where end-user communication is part of the job.
